Influenster Sweetheart Vox Box
Last month I was lucky enough to qualify for Influesnter’s Sweetheart Vox Box to try these awesome goodies! I have finally had the chance to try everything to review them for you guys…so let’s get into it!
Olay Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid Powered Contour Cleansing System: This is a set of a cleanser and cleansing “brush” that is made up of rubber fibers to scrub your face. I thought the cleanser was pretty good, but the brush is a little strange. Since it isn’t brush hairs, they do more of an exfoliating job rather than a cleansing job. I wouldn’t buy this personally. It retails for $14.99
Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response Deodorant: I’ve always been curious about the clinical strength deodorants because I like to control sweat as much as possible…I’m not sure if I sweat a lot necessarily, though. This one has a nice citrus scent and comes out in a cream, which I haven’t used before but didn’t mind it! It worked well and I did feel a little less damp throughout the day. It’s about $9.99 at drugstores which is a lot, but it can be worth it if sweating is a problem.
Not Your Mother’s She’s A Tease Volumizing Hair Spray: I’m not huge on hairsprays, but I happened to get this right after I had curled my hair. So, I tested it out and found that it didn’t make my hair as crunchy as other drugstore priced hair sprays. I would have preferred to try a different product, but it was still nice! It is a free box after all. It doesn’t have the best smell, but it’s only $5.99 and does the job so I’d recommend it.
SkinnyGirl On-the-Go Bar in Banana Oatmeal: I typically loathe getting granola bars and similar products in my boxes because they are usually terrible. Thankfully, this one tasted fine. It isn’t something I’d repurchase, though, because at $9.99 for a box of 5, these bars aren’t worth 2 bucks a pop!
